You can easily create a basket of high-risk, highly-leveraged algorithms trading on margin for the futures markets that could easily achieve a leveraged annualized compounded return of many thousands of percent … and a few might work well for a few days or weeks or even months but it is very (very) unlikely that any of them will be sustainable longer… because risk is invariably inseparable with return (but also because of Alpha Decay)...
