One of the things which blew my mind was the Israeli Arabs, most of whom are Moslem. There are lots of them, and they have Israeli jobs and they are doing fine. I checked into my hotel in Tel Aviv at about 8 PM, a day before my tour began, so I had time to kill. The desk said the restaurant would remain open until 9 so I took a quick shower, meditated briefly, and went to the empty restaurant about 8:50.
