The first lock is the transition period, which lasts until at least 2021. We must
hand over an estimated £39 billion for nothing, be bound by EU law and take
orders from an unelected Joint Committee operating under the jurisdiction of the European Court of Justice. Will the EU27 agree an equitable free trade agreement before the end of 2020? Unlikely, since all the goodies they want in the “future partnership” are set out in the Northern Ireland backstop, which kicks in automatically on 1st January 2021 unless superseded by a
partnership” agreement. Full ratification by all Member States is required
before any such agreement can come into force. Achieving this in time to avoid
entering the backstop would be nothing short of miraculous, even if the EU
agrees to extend the transition period for one or two years. So it is more pay
with no say and a likely doubling of the Brexit bill to £80 billion, to be paid with
no reference to British MPs.Not only does the backstop carve out Northern Ireland a an EU province and set a border in the Irish Sea, it creates a partial “customs union" that requires us to implement EU trade tariffs and with no decision making powers.
Under highly restrictive “non-regression clauses”. the UK also agrees to
implement all EU emimnmental. competition, state aid and tax harmonisation laws, with the unelected Joint Committee and the ECJ once again able to punish us for any perceived backsliding. British farmers will be locked into a subsidy regime well below support received by EU27 farmers , who nevertheless
retain tariff-free access to the UK. British agriculture would be decimnted. It
means we could not support British businesses, give ourselves a competitive edge in new technologies where we excel. strike independent trade deals or diverge in key policy areas Such as good regulatory and tax Free EU access to UK fisheries to sit down as a marker for negotiation future “deal”
The Political Declaration replicates all the onerous “non-regression” clauses of
the backstop and requires even more surrender of sovereignty via participation in and funding of the EU’s aerospace and defence programmes, free access to UK waters for EU fishermen, a full customs union and common trade policy, free movement by the backdoor under “mobility” clauses, EU control of UK agriculture via the state aid rules and in general full adherence to the acquis communautaire in all policy areas.

It's obvious that Bercow isn't a lawyer, because Cox was completely grandstanding and seeing how much he could get away with, and Bercow let him do whatever he wanted. Instead of discussing a legal situation, Cox turned into a party figurehead who used his time to score as many political points as he could. I can't imagine Bercow would have let Johnson get away with insulting "honorable members" like he did with Cox, especially since the AG wasn't even prompted and just suddenly started shouting insults.
If Cox was in a courtroom, he would have been thrown out for his unsupported insults and suppositions (are Labour really cowards for not calling an election now? Or are they smart enough to realize they'll win in a landslide after Oct. 31. Why would you expect your opponent to want something you clearly believe will immensely benefit you? Another example of Conservatives just mad that they can't get their own way). Cox could easily have been branded a coward himself for failing to discuss the obviously illegal advice he gave. This was behavior that was unbecoming of the country's theoretical top lawyer, and Bercow should have said something about it, even if just for the repeated insults.

I'm devastated to have this disgrace of a man as a PM. He's taking this country to hell, chasing after the white working class vote with populist rhetoric. I never thought I'd see such a thing in Britain. The opposition seem paralysed out of shock that such a vile creature would inhabit no.10. They must get organized, join together and oust him. In the future, who will judge what is the true purpose and whether it is 'lawful'?

There with you Boris! we NEED to get out ASAP! doesn't matter what anyone else thinks! ppl can't make up their minds and jump to whatever suits them and THAT'S NOT OKAY! we HAVE to do what's best for everyone and fact is The EU have become a clear dictator organization, alas yes it was The Governments who set it up but they sure defo unrealistic about the world we live in people at the time of setting it up were clearly living in La La Land and now we're seeing that SAME unrealisticness from ppl who refuse to see the situation for what it is cos they only see THEIR opinion from whatever standpoint they may think they're coming from… but it's CLEAR we NEED to get out as fast as we can because The EU do nothing but interfere and control.
I only felt the only option would be a "No Deal" from the second Brexit started and despite the Fear Mongering from Remainers… i know we'll be alright and we'll defo do better without The EU interfering complicating EVERYTHING we set out to do or issues we NEED to fix… it's like "You need to run it past us The EU" i'm sorry… Who do they think they are? and i'm sick to back teeth of people trying to force me into walking around eggshells around them… NO! Little do people STILL not know is The EU aren't doing too well despite me explaining several times as to why… and it's why they'll pull any stunt to stop us leaving including smacking us over the head again and again with Ireland's border but i'd like to see how The EU deal with that when things start happening because they won't even agree to a Soft Border, they want a clear Hard Border and there's no changing their minds : oh well… suit yourselves… but we won't bail you out when people start shooting each other… we COULD have kept an Open Border under our UK Laws but with The EU there "owning" Ireland it prevents us from doing that.
