Members of Latvia’s Russian-speaking community staged a peaceful protest in the country’s capital of Riga on Wednesday evening against a looming ban on teaching in Russian in educational institutions.

The platform lacks transparency and is filled with “Russian activities,” Ukraine’s culture minister has alleged Ukraine needs to introduce a kind of “regulatory” mechanism for Telegram, Culture Minister Alexander Tkachenko has said. The minister made the remarks in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine published on Friday.
