Russian gas giant announces radical new Asia strategy

Moscow has set out its plans for cooperation with key allies in the region for the next 15 years, Gazprom’s CEO has said Russia is seeking long-term cooperation in natural gas supplies with Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, Gazprom CEO Aleksey Miller has revealed.

Ukraine shells Donetsk, killing multiple civilians

The city has been targeted by Kiev’s forces with heavy artillery and rocket fire, according to local officials Ukrainian forces subjected the city of Donetsk and its immediate vicinity to artillery and multiple rocket launcher fire on Sunday. The attacks left at least three civilians dead and damaged houses and infrastructure, according to local officials.
